More Scottish Scarves
The Celtic Croft carries a wide variety of scarves. We keep many in stock, but also supply many special order scarves made to order in Scotland.
First of all, we keep in stock scarves made in the official Outlander: the Series tartans: Outlander, Fraser, and MacKenzie. We carry them in three materials: lambswool, premium wool, and poly viscose. Lambswool feels softer and fluffier than premium wool. It keeps you the warmest out of the three materials. You’ll feel warm in premium wool, and match Jamie’s kilt made of the same material. He often wears the Outlander tartan, but also wears the Fraser tartan (plaid pattern) for his wedding. If you have wool allergies and feel uncomfortable in wool, we recommend poly viscose. This is a cool material that is smooth, yet looks similar to wool.
We keep Homespun tartan in stock, so we make everything out of it usually within a week. For our homespun scarves in particular, we make them within a matter of days. We also keep a small stock of them, so you might have one of our scarves in as little as 3 days.
As mentioned above, lambswool keeps you very warm and comfortable. That’s why we keep Scottish lambswool scarves in stock. An affordable gift during the holidays, we have many tartans for you to choose from. If we don’t have your tartan in stock, feel free to special order it at the following link: click here! Our options for lambswool scarves don’t end at Scottish tartans, because we also provide Irish County Lambswool Scarves.
