This is a great belt! I got the 3″ in brown with the brass buckle. The buckle is really BIG and is a beautiful piece of work. The belt is a heavy, almost tool grade leather and is a warm, medium, almost woody/nutty brown tat is really handsome. Although this will belt will go nicely with my kilt, I actually purchased it for use with other outfits/costumes of a medieval nature. One word of caution, I have a roughly 44″ waist and can only wear it on the 3rd of 7 notches on the XL (45-51), even though I thought I might have to punch an extra hole or two. I could maybe get it to the 4th notch but I would recommend sizing up. I’m glad I did, as the L wouldn’t have fit! You can always punch more notches.

This is a great looking belt! I got a 3″ brown one with a brass buckle. The buckle is BIG and very nicely done. The belt is a great, heavy leather (almost like tool leather) and the color is a beautiful, medium “woody” brown. I didn’t actually purchase this belt for use with my kilt, but for a variety of other medieval outfits. One word of caution: I have an approximately 44″ waist and can only get it to the 3rd notch of 7. I ordered “up” (XL) to be safe and I’m glad I did. I don’t think the L would have fit.

Fits my traditional 8 yard kilt perfectly. Leather is thick, the buckle is heavy with no blemishes from the casting. All around beautiful, simple belt. Brown is a very light brown. Will not match dark brown accessories like the brown economy Rob Roy sporran.

Great belt!!! No complaints other than it’s to wide for the loops in my Utilikilt, but it fits very well in my traditional kilt. Well done.
