If you’re thinking of ordering a custom made kilt for a special event or a wedding, it is a big investment! You’re going to want to make sure that you select the right tartan and colors—that’s where these tartan swatches come in. Measuring approximately 6 to 8 inches square, you can get a feel of our Scottish-made tartan before you place your custom order. This way, you can compare multiple tartans at once before making your selection! Or, if you are making a small project or gift that only needs a bit of tartan, these swatches are an affordable option too. The possibilities are endless!

Important Note — Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery. We agree that this is a long time to wait for a swatch. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about it. Our swatches come from several different weavers in Scotland, and they don’t all place the priority on swatches that we would like them to. In fact, some of them only cough up swatches very grudgingly, after we pester them two or three times with repeated requests. Sorry. We do the best we can to get them to you as quickly as possible!
