Made from 100% pure new wool, woven in Wales. The clan designs of Scottish Tartans have a long traditional history, but there is little historic evidence of clan named tartans in Wales. Wales did however have regional tartans. In recent times the Welsh family tartans have been created to celebrate and commemorate the Welsh tradition. Because it is cut from the roll and shipped from Wales just for you, tartan yardage is considered a special order item. Please allow 6-12 weeks for delivery.

Welsh tartans actually woven in Wales! Medium weight 100% premium wool. Woven 54 in. wide. Reccommended for making modern style formal and casual kilts, ancient kilts and phillabegs. Can be heavy when used for great kilts. Welsh tartan is not woven with kilting selvages, so a hem will be required. Special order. Please allow 6-12 weeks for delivery.
