Interesting note: I've been told that in Scotland if you ask for pants you will be shown underwear. In Scotland trousers are the right term for both men's and women's pants. I was also told that this is where the word "panties" originates from. It's the female version of pants.

How to measure for Trousers

Waist: Measure around the waist where you are going to wear the pants.

Hip: Measure around the largest part of the hip.

Outside Leg: From waist, including waist band, to bottom of pant.

Inside Leg: From crotch to bottom of pant.
