Precursor to the modern kilt, these kilts can be traced back to the 1600's (except our Ancient kilts, which may or may not be historically accurate based on who you ask). They don't have sewn down pleats like modern kilts, and are instead loosely bunched or pleated every time they're worn. To make this process easier, we offer Cheater Pleats for our historic kilts, and a few even have an option for a strap and buckle. Please see the individual categories to learn more about each style!
