This beautiful ebony dirk has a Damascus steel blade, and decorative brass inlay. This dirk is patterned after the early Scottish ballock knives (or Kidney Knife to the Victorians). It is a beautiful dirk that will look great with almost any outfit. Well-made, with a good-quality, full-tang, "backed" (single edged and wedge-shaped in cross section) Damascus steel blade. The solid ebony wood handle has been inlaid with ornate brass and studs. Includes the tan leather sheath as shown. 20 inch overall length.
12/2016 update The manufacturer has decided that tan is the new sheath color. Unfortunately we have no control over this. We have been told by some customers that they've successfully dyed the sheath dark brown / black using leather dye. If you can't live with the tan color, give this a try and let us know how it works out for you. Feel free even to send us some customer action photos!
