Welsh Tartans

Made from 100% pure new wool, woven in Wales. All tartans are double width (54-60 inches wide) unless otherwise specified. The clan designs of Scottish Tartans have a long traditional history, but there is little historic evidence of clan named tartans in Wales. Wales did however have regional tartans. In recent times the Welsh Family Tartans have been created to celebrate and commemorate the Welsh tradition. Because it is cut from the roll and shipped from Wales just for you, tartan yardage is considered a special order item. Please allow 6-12 weeks for delivery.

12/13oz Medium Weight Premium Wool Tartan
YPW13 – $79/yard
Twill weave, 54in wide. The most common kilting fabric. Heavy enough to take good crisp pleats but still be relatively light and manageable. Special-order. Please allow 6-12 weeks for delivery.
Just a reminder – tartan is not returnable, so please order a swatch first if you are unsure.
