Laminate-Frame Bodhrans
Waltons builds each of their bodhrans using modern materials and techniques,
and yet captures the spirit of this centuries-old musical instrument.The
modern, laminated wood frame is light and strong, and is supposed to be
less sensitive to changes in humidity and temperature than solid-wood
frames. Each bodhran is made with a high-quality, traditional goat-skin
head.

Waltons Standard Bodhran MB1900 – only $69 Made in Ireland with a 4-ply birch laminated frame, and a high-quality, traditional goatskin head. The wood-grain of the frame shows nicely through the medium-brown finish. The look is completed by a matching, brown leather band, fastened all the way around with decorative, brass tacks. Each bodhran includes a tipper and care instructions. |
